August 21st was also the day of the big eclipse.
Bentley and the other sophomores watched it on the football field
after their first day. The rest of us watched in the front yard and
visited with Bob and Janice K, our neighbors. It was really cool to
see the shadows and the light around us change.
We shared our special glasses with the K, and they shared their
box viewers with us. My parents in Idaho had the perfect view
of the eclipse. I am a little jealous. Maybe next time we will join
Spencer in Buffalo for the Eclipse.
The shadows from the trees were my favorite. The K box viewer looks awesome!
